Diploma Supplement - Further Information

The DS is divided into the following eight sections:

1. Information identifying the holder of the qualification
2. Information identifying the qualification
3. Information on the level of the qualification
4. Information on the content of the qualification and the results gained
5. Information on the function of the qualification
6. Additional information
7. Certification of the Diploma Supplement
8. Summary and description of the UK Higher Education and Training System.

As an integral part of the Diploma Supplement a description of the Higher Education System, for the country the qualification was issued from, is provided. This puts the Higher Education Qualification into the context of the country from where it was issued. Other universities and employers, who may not be aware of each system, can therefore understand the qualification more clearly.
